Angela has been a part of the dental world for over a decade, all of which has been spent here at Smileworks! She is a Clemson graduate and strives to create a magical experience for each of our patients. Outside of work, she likes to travel, go boating, visit the beach, and make memories with family and friends.
Beige, Front Office Coordinator

For more than a decade, Beige has dedicated herself to delivering the best customer service possible. She is a Mount Pleasant native and attended the College of Charleston. Married with two children, she likes to spend her free time boating, traveling, and being with family.
Brooke, Front Office Coordinator

Brooke says that the best thing about her job is the ability to make a tangible impact by directly helping people through her work, which gives her a sense of fulfillment and motivates her to continue learning and growing in her role. A Charleston native, she says that her dog, Petunia, is her world, so most of her free time is dedicated to spoiling her!
Starr, Dental Assistant/Front Office Coordinator

Starr says that she’s here to make sure everyone who enters our practice feels like family and leaves with a big smile! She completed her dental training through Trident Technical College and has been with Smileworks for her entire career.
When she’s not in the office, you’ll usually find Starr watching Clemson football, hanging out on the water, trying a new coffee spot, spending time with family, and loving on all the fur babies in her life.
Kara, Registered Dental Hygienist

Kara has been with us for over a decade and a part of dentistry for 25+ years. Her dental hygiene training was done through Onondaga College, and her big goal every day is to make sure each of her patients has a comfortable experience.
Coming to us from Hamilton, NY, Kara loves being outdoors, so you’ll often find her boating or kayaking if she isn’t traveling or trying a new restaurant.
Storm, Registered Dental Hygienist

Nothing makes Storm happier than seeing someone become more confident because our team helped them achieve a healthier smile. A graduate of Florence Darlington Technical College, she was an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant before becoming a hygienist, giving her plenty of experience with all aspects of working in a dental office.
Storm grew up in a large family with lots of brothers and sisters, and she’s so happy that her boyfriend has seamlessly become part of their tight-knit group. When she isn’t having a great time with loved ones, she likes to travel, read, and be anywhere that’s hot and sunny.
Michelle, Registered Dental Hygienist

Michelle is a 35+ year dental veteran, and we’re thrilled to have someone with her level of experience on our team. She started her dental journey as an assistant in high school and eventually graduated summa cum laude from the hygiene program at St. Petersburg College.
Michelle married her high school prom date, who is an aerospace engineer. His work saw them move to Florida where they had two beautiful daughters. While they thought they were Floridians for life, they eventually moved to South Carolina so he could start a job at Boeing. Throughout that time, Michelle has worked on their fixer-upper homes, home schooled, and spent many hours archiving old family photos.
Gail, Registered Dental Hygienist

Gail has spent an amazing 35+ years in dentistry, and she says she still loves building connections with our patients as well as her coworkers while doing a job that serves the community. She was trained at the University of Michigan and has worked in private practice for her entire career, except for a year and a half on an army base in Italy!
When she’s not at the office, Gail likes to exercise, read, cook, and be with family and friends.

Angela says it’s the people she works with that make her job truly special, referring to both our patients as well as her fellow team members! She earned her B.S. in Dental Hygiene through West Virginia University and is originally from Kittanning, PA.
Married to Oscar, who she co-owns Dashi Restaurant with, they have a house full of cats and will do anything to help animals. She is also a big music lover and used to sing at various private events!
Olivia, Registered Dental Hygienist

Olivia deeply enjoys helping people with dental anxiety finally relax in the chair while giving them a healthy and attractive smile. Since finishing her education at Midlands Technical College, she has gone on to earn her laser certification and gain experience in periodontal treatment.
Before coming to dentistry, Olivia worked as a nurse tech in the ER in downtown Columbia for many years and developed a true love for helping people. She is the mother of an amazing son, and when she can, she likes to paint, design, and spend weekends with friends.
Maddie, Registered Dental Hygienist

Maddie’s career in the dental field spans over five years so far, and she’s thrilled to not only work for such great doctors, but care for such nice patients as well! She studied dental hygiene at Carl Sandburg College and has worked in several different roles over time, including as an orthodontic dental hygienist and a pediatric dental hygienist.
At home, Maddie and her husband are the proud parents of a new puppy. When she isn’t busy at the office, you can typically find her enjoying the outdoors, going to hockey games, and particularly watching her husband play hockey.
Beth, Dental Assistant

Beth is originally from Maine and says that what makes our practice special is how the team works so well together. This leads to a better patient experience and a better atmosphere in the office, which makes Smileworks a consistently great place to be! In addition to working in general dentistry, she also spent eight years in oral surgery.
Beth has a fiancé named Ryan as well as a young daughter, Charlotte, along with a cat and dog. One of her favorite hobbies is learning how to fix things, but she also enjoys exercising and gardening.
Greis, Dental Assistant

Greis has been giving people beautiful smiles for over 15 years! She began her education in her native Argentina and finished at South Seattle College. Today, she has certifications in dental X-rays, nitrous oxide, infection control, and teeth whitening.
Greis is married to a Charlestonite, and she likes spending her weekends going to the beach, practicing yoga, hiking, and connecting with friends and family. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish!
Tracy, Dental Assistant

For Tracy, nothing is better than building a positive relationship with a patient, using her skills to improve their oral health, and watching their lives get better as a result. A 15+ year dental veteran, she began her journey by completing her education at Dental Assisting Training School.
Tracy and her husband, Bryan, have been married for over 30 years, and they have two adult children, one grandson, and six dogs! The dogs keep her pretty busy, but she also loves to craft and spend as much time with her family as possible.
