Tamara M. Caouette, DDS
Dr. Caouette has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years, most of which has been spent serving the Mt Pleasant community alongside our outstanding team here at Smileworks. In that time, she has formed strong relationships with countless patients and their families, making sure their smiles are ready for each milestone that life throws at them. She can’t wait to welcome you into our office, and you can start getting to know her below.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Caouette has been with her husband, our own Dr. Gibson, since boarding school, and it was his family (which includes multiple dentists) that introduced her to dentistry. Looking back, she couldn’t be happier where life has taken her!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Caouette graduated from Franklin and Marshall College before attending the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Over the course of her multi-decade career, she gained a lot of experience treating children, adults, and seniors, with her primary focus being cosmetic and restorative dentistry. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
If it involves spending time outdoors and exploring the natural wonders of our country, then you can trust that Dr. Caouette likes to do it! She’s an avid camper, hiker, skier, and mountain biker, and you’ll often find her alongside Dr. Gibson soaking up the sun.
